I'm afraid I won't be much help here, as I know little about networking. All I can say is that after a little bit of research it appears that the issue is not with the device itself, but rather an incompatibility between the device and your router. Unfortunately support is difficult to find as the device is not particularly well-known and it is difficult to track down the company who makes these on behalf of Disgo.

On your laptop, do you have to use specialist software to connect to the internet? Some ISPs require this, but unfortunately the inability to run external software on the device will mean that the device will not be able to connect.

I apologise for not being much help, but my knowledge on this subject is very limited. If you continue to search for a solution, I wish you luck :)

Forgive me please for troubling you with my problem, but after searching the net for Disgo advice or forum for help,I can only find you.
As a cancer sufferer,I bought a small netbook to check emails etc from my bed, rather than using my laptop which overheats on my duvet.
I have followed all the instructions and trying to connect to wireless OR lan cable,I get messages the PPPoE access concentrator is not responding, try again later,I clik ok and a window says input internet password and network password which I never had.
Contacted my ISP,they have no experience of windows CE or net browsers,so I have spent days online surfing for manufacturers advice,I cannot find the manufacturer even.
So please, please, have you any guidance as to manufacturers helpline or email support, its a DISGO 3000 net browser from play.com who dont even answer my mail enquiries
Respects

I'll stick with my Motorola C139 for phone calls, my dad's Canon HF100 for video recordings and my two-speaker stereo system in my bedroom for music. I don't need to listen to music on the go, nor do I wish to.

Just to clarify the stoned programmers' warning about your laptop being plugged in, I believe that is intended as an "expected result" reinforcement, so that if you plug it in and it doesn't happen, you'll realize something is amiss - no power to the outlet, acpi gone haywire, or what-have-you.

Or maybe they are concerned about power brick leprechauns. I don't know.
